Fran\u00e7ois Lalande since October of last year to improve the quality of care provided to children. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">This new partnership supports The Lighthouse in managing the children&#8217;s medication, while developing its employees&#8217; pharmacology knowledge and guiding the team in its path to excellence.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The aim of the partnership with Pharmacie Fran\u00e7ois Lalande is to promote the health, safety and well-being of children by taking the following measures:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ensure the safe management and administration of medication for children staying at The Lighthouse Children and Families<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Continue therapeutic treatments undertaken by the medical team treating the child<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Begin therapeutic treatments involving a medical prescription prescribed by a member of the medical team<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Minimize the possibility of errors and prevent accidental administration<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Prevent damage to medications through proper storage<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Quickly administer emergency medications for allergic reactions, hypoglycemia, distress or convulsions<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cThis
